Botox
What is Botox?
Botox is a toxin, but when people use it correctly and in small doses, it has a number of medical and cosmetic uses. Manufacturers make Botox injections from very small doses of botulinum toxin. Botox injections are probably best known for reducing skin wrinkles, headaches excessive sweating and other muscle and nerve related disorders
How Does Botox Work?
Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The drug can temporarily paralyze muscles the injected muscle can’t contract. That makes the wrinkles relax and soften.
Botox is most often used on forehead lines, crow’s feet (lines around the eye), and frown lines.
What are BOTOX, Xeomin and Dysport?
These injectable treatments are in a class of skin rejuvenation options known as neuromodulators, meaning they are derived from the botulinum molecule and used to temporarily relax dynamic wrinkles around the eyes and forehead such as crow’s feet and brow lines. Both of these products are extensively tested for safety and efficacy and can smooth dynamic wrinkles away for up to four months with optimal treatment.

Facial Benefits
The face has 43 muscles. BOTOX® is an injectable and is primarily used to treat frown lines, creases in the forehead, and crow’s feet. It can also be used to treat wrinkles that form around the lips, on the lower face, and in downturned smiles. What was originally created to treat muscle spasms has quickly seen a rise in usage as a powerful tool in a variety of cosmetic procedures. It is injected into the face in a nonsurgical fashion, which means that there is no downtime either for surgery prep or recover. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to temporarily get rid of unwanted wrinkles or fine lines, then this could be the option you’re looking for. It is an FDA-approved procedure for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, primarily on your face. Administered correctly, BOTOX® can address the areas where you have fine lines while keeping the surrounding muscles nice and perky. Don’t let wrinkles get you down, call Natura Medspa & Laser Center and let us help you regain the look you want.
